Embark on a Free Voyage to Repower Course for Young People from Roupell Park Estate, Enhanced with Extra Participant Support
In collaboration with Repowering – Brixton, we are thrilled to present an incredible opportunity for 5 young individuals from Roupell Park Estate. We invite those aged between 18 and 24 years, who might be NEET (Not in Education, Employment, or Training), work part-time, or attend college part-time, to participate in the Voyage to Repower course.
Key Details:
Course Duration: 15 weeks
Course Start Date: 15th September 2023
Course Days: Wednesdays and Thursdays
Time: 10.00am to 4.00 pm
Course Highlights:
Develop essential employability skills and personal growth through interactive sessions.
Gain inspiration from sustainability-focused sessions across various industries.
Delve into comprehensive exploration sessions covering a range of subjects, including IT (coding and Adobe Photoshop), Communications and Social Media, Finance, Electrics and Solar Panel Installation, Heat and Plumbing, and Retrofit.
Access formal training opportunities designed to enhance practical skills.
Receive dedicated support in job searches and apprenticeship opportunities.
Benefit from mentorship throughout the course duration.
Become part of an influential alumni network for continued growth.
Additional Support:
As part of this program, each participant will receive:
Financial Support: A total of £35 per week, comprising £10 for travel expenses and £25 for personal use.
Technology: A second-hand refurbished laptop, yours to keep after completing the course. This valuable tool will aid you in job applications and other educational pursuits.
